I sat with my kitty while watching this video. He found it very entertaining.

2. Our cat, Dick, used to chirp at the birds sitting on branches near the window.

We think that in his mind, if he could imitate the birds with his chirping, they would think he too was a bird (never mind the fur, tail, and whiskers). And when they were lulled into a state of false complacency, he'd pounce.

It never got this far with a plate of glass separating them.
