I still have a canceled check I wrote that day, at a health food store, that I was amazed made it through the bank.

The check was for $19.20 - and I wrote on the "Pay to the Order of" line "Nineteen and 20/100 ------"

I was a bit cloudy headed with excitement and from being up all night. Still, it freaked me out when I got the canceled checks back and it was in there.
