Remember ELO?
Edited on Tue May-31-11 09:26 AM by LynneSin
One of the greatest bands out of the 80s. I loved their blend of prog-rock riffs mixed with amazing electronic strings. And you could dance and get crazy to their music.

Plus side #3 of ELO's "Out of the Blue" has GOT to be one of the greatest album sides ever (The Concerto for a Raining day which includes "Standing in the Rain", "Big Wheel", "Summer and Lightening" and the amazing "Mr Blue Skies".)

And to think if I married the lead singer of ELO - I'd be known as Lynne Lynne

2. Eugh
Actually, they were out of the 1970s. One of my college roommates was heavily fixated on ELO, but being two years behind me and the other roommate, we were able to impose a strict No-ELO zone in the dorm room while we were present. We allowed him some Boston, simply because it was otherwise inescapable. The presence of Jeffy Lynne nearly killed my appreciation for the Traveling Wilburys.

3. I saw both ELO and the Rolling Stones at the same venue the summer of 1978.
To my great surprise, ELO's show kicked the Stones' ass.
