I'm back from my surgery!

Feeling a lot better than I expected to be just a few hours out! Apparently they did find mild endometriosis, although apparently the amount you have doesn't necessarily correlate how bad the pain is. The doctor said I should feel a reduction in my pain, although it's not a guarantee - and because a D+C was done as well, my periods should be lighter if nothing else!

The difference before and after the surgery is amazing.
no more curling up in a ball with a heating pad. :)

It's been about 5 years since my surgery for endometriosis, and I haven't needed another one so far.
They removed 2 masses, one the size of an orange, the other the size of a grapefruit.
Another thing that has helped is that I changed from a regular birth control pill to the type where you only get your period 4 times a year.
