1. When I wear my invisiblity cloak it happens.
Sometimes I wish I could be invisible. Sometimes I hate being invisible.

3. I feel that way in the audible sense oftentimes
Frequently when we're conversing, my SO will turn away and start a conversation with someone else when I'm mid-sentence. She doesn't even realize she does it, which tells me I have little to say that's very important.

I also often find that people will ask me something that I just told them.

It's sort of like being invisible, which isn't all bad, actually.

5. No, but I've had katpacphobia.

It's a feeling that comes over you suddenly & lasts for a few moments, where you feel like everything around you is a dream. Ever get that feeling? It's most probably from a moment of quirkiness in the equilibrium? It's a term my childhood best friend & I came up with during recess in the 6th grade; we took the first few letters of our names & added "phobia".

7. Derealization
It's happened to me, along with depersonalization ... I was having an episode of depression. Still happens sometimes, kind of enjoy it. Dana ; )

8. Yes. I have no idea why this happens. I am tall and confident, and I speak loudly when I want
people to hear me. But when I turn to people as a nonverbal cue that I'm about to start speaking, they often don't see it.

10. I 'd venture to say it isn't you
Some people are thinking all the time, or visually preoccupied, and can't multitask.

11. Quite often, and I like it.
Wouldn't it be awful to be famous and recognizable by the public, noticed all the time, and have the paparazzi chasing you?

I like to look at people and smile a little, and hold the door open for the person behind me, or otherwise acknowledge that I notice them. If you look at little kids and smile they often say 'hi', and seemed pleased when you say 'hi' back.

I was younger, some dumbass men were always hitting on me. If you're a single woman living alone, and they know you don't have a husband/SO they'll have to answer to, some men see you as an easy target.

Edited to add: also, sometimes I felt like a ghost when I was much younger.

16. I feel that way when I'm driving.
Somebody will pull out right in front of me, so I have to hit the brakes, and when I look behind me, the road is perfectly clear. I figure that I must be invisible when I'm in my car. x(

I have witnessed some interesting smooth moves culminating in close calls where the only explanation is that I must be invisible to the other driver.
