Anybody watching 'Swamp People'?
It's kinda' fun.
I know these people.
And they are tougher than railroad spikes.

If you ever slight or piss off a Cajun, they'll NEVER forget it.
They will carry grudges for decades.
Maybe centuries.

Miz t. is Cajun.
As they say in Louisiana, 'full blooded on both sides'.
Her dad was from New Orleans, her mom from Bell City, near Lake Charles.

I'm 'back door Cajun', married into it.

Her dad wasn't an alligator hunter, but he taught me how to trawl for shrimp, how to seine for crawfish, and how to harvest oysters.
I was a city boy, and I will be forever in his debt.
RIP, Pop.
:-)

1. Many of these folks have now been flooded out by the Corps of Engineers.
:-(

2. I've been watching it.....and...
I'd love to sit down and listen to what the man named Troy has to say.

The two brothers profiled this season are pretty interesting (and a bit eccentric).

I kind of wish they'd do a little more telling beyond the alligator hunting.
