5. Not going to go to FB, but one day when some persistent 'witnesses' kept coming to my ranch,

I asked why they were driving so far out to the country, from a small town about 30 miles away from there. They informed me, without shame, that they were inspecting all of the property they were going to inherit when the non-believers were gone. In their belief system, we were squatting on their land and living in their houses.

Not so much a statement on the Rapture, but avarice. I was appalled at their ghoulish delight about the opportunities they'd have after the rest of mankind was gone. IDK if all the JW's believe this.

I was speechless and they were clueless. After putting up with them waking me up from my much needed afternoon naps, even after I told them I was sleeping each time they knocked, I realized they weren't going to take the hint.

So I locked the gate so no one could drive up to my house. Creepy!

Aren't they the ones who are going to be gone? Whenever I've had someone like that come to my door - I just tell them that I am an episcopalian and we like gay people - they usually take off pretty quickly - we are beyond saving in their book!
