If it gets really bad they eliminate the My DU feature, and at some point they even close down the lounge (although I'm not sure we've ever reached that level :)

16. You should have seen things back during the presidential debates

in '08. I think DU hit Defcon 3. NOTHING was working except the message boards. And then there was the time that, thanks to some sort of weird glitch, one message in the Lounge somehow reposted itself about a thousand times in the space of a few minutes.

This is just standard OP when things get rilly busy and DU techies are tops at keeping things running fairly smoothly even during the craziest of times.
