Long-time friends have gone. I feel alone here. :-(

I've been a member here almost ten years. Lurking for longer than that. Been through an awful lot with an awful lot of awfully good people. But I can't remember the last time I contributed more than two replies to any given thread here.

'William Shakespeare's Thought For The Day' has been shelved because I just don't have the time anymore.

Could I get some long-time Loungers and anyone who has considered me a friend to post a reply here?

Today, I went full-bore all freaking day, and when I got to the end, it turned out I had only seen 17 patients! It seemed like half-again as many!

Three or four times today, I got the dreaded: "Oh, just one more thing, Doc!" That leads to another 5-10 minutes of poking and prodding while other patients are kicking their heels in the other exam rooms...

And I did a baseline physical exam on a patient today whose personal hygiene was so foul, I could barely eat my lunch afterward...
