6. Not saying they were
But did you know their crime spree had a purpose?

The goal was to liberate all the prisoners from the prison where Clyde Barrow had been imprisoned

Apparently that place changed him, as prisons have been known to do

8. Yes, I believe he had been sexually abused when he was in that prison.

I recently watched a Bonnie & Clyde TV movie that claimed to be the true story, so I did a lot of googling later to see what the true story actually was. Turns out that much of the stuff in the movie was for real, and some stuff about Bonnie & Clyde is not known for certain, with different people who knew them giving different stories.

4. I don't know about Bonnie being truly evil
I think she was just so wrapped up in Clyde, she would have done anything. In the end, I think she knew they were about to die, and she could have walked away, but she would have rather died with him than live without him.

9. Actually she could not have walked away. She could not walk
There was a car crash and fire that left her unable to walk for about the last six months. Fortunately she was a very tiny woman so Clyde could carry her places.

I love the movie for what it is but those two and their cohorts were a bunch of freaky assholes. And the so-called concern for the common man was totally made up.

11. You're saying she made a choice. Ergo "evildoer."
Choosing to be with her BF when he was robbing banks was choosing to rob banks. How can you skip over that moral imperative?

7. No dichotomy. They were both.
I voted to try to bring the minority view into balance. Keep in mind the Latin proverb "necessitas caret lege" while judging them.

Now Ma Barker, well............
