I went to a Dylan concert when I was in college... his gospel period. Absolutely dreadful concert. We walked out maybe four songs into the set, as did a lot of others. Absolutely the worst concert I have ever been to (and that includes school concerts!)

Bob has earned the right to do whatever the fuck he wants. The song is cool, and its not like he was out biting the heads off babies or anything.

He's standing there, his music is playing, he makes a buck or two. He's a cultural icon, VS is a cultural icon and ground breaking in the fact that they finally started the trend to actually sell sex on TV after everyone and their brother was exploiting it for the hell of it. To me its a brilliant juxtaposition - old icon from one form of rebellion meets new icon from other type of rebellion.

no one was using live models to advertise women's underwear on TV - they came in and did it. Bold, outrageous really significant? - hell no, but, it crossed a line and one that needed to be crossed.

Hint: When being sarcastic its a farily decent idea to have an understanding of what you are talking about.
