3. Isn't Paul Simon's marriage to Fisher the topic of "Train in the Distance?"
His second marriage, from 1983 to 1984, was to actress and author Carrie Fisher to whom he proposed after a New York Yankees game.<33> (The song "Hearts and Bones" was written about this relationship. The song "Graceland" is also thought to be about seeking solace from the end of this relationship by taking a road trip). A year after divorcing, Simon and Fisher resumed their relationship for several years.

{Carrie Fisher} also co-wrote the TV comedy movie These Old Broads (2001), of which she was also co-executive producer. It starred her mother, Debbie Reynolds, as well as Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Collins and Shirley MacLaine. In this, Taylor's character, an agent, explains to Reynolds' character, an actress, that she was in an alcoholic blackout when she married the actress's husband, "Freddy".

{Maybe the mysterious source reference?)

4. could be a Charmed reference --
Edited on Wed Mar-23-11 10:00 PM by Tuesday Afternoon
The Source:

During the first two seasons the sisters would face various evil beings from week to week. However, they discover that their true enemy is the Underworld's ruler, Source of All Evil. The Source is discovered to be behind all the attacks on the sisters and becomes the main villain during Season 4 until he is finally vanquished. After this a season long storyline was introduced and a good being/opponent along with it.

The Charmed ones shortened it to: The Source

8. She was quoting her father
He is the one who called Elizabeth Taylor "the source". They were talking about her father's and E. Taylor's relationship, I think.
