6. That means conditions are right for a tornado to be able to form...
The NEXT alert will mean a funnel cloud has been sighted...NOT to scare you, but when you hear the next one, get ready to seek shelter---ANY room on a building's first floor that is an "interior" room--i.e. NO outside walls--and NO windows! Or an interior hallway. In a home, go to an interior bathroom or closet, and sit down on the floor.

Hope it passes over you all fast--you'll be OK!:D

B-)

7. It's a watch that means conditions are favorable
Any warning means that one's been sighted or indicated by doppler radar.

9. Ironically, enough
It was just outside the National Weather Service's offices in Sterling.

Why does this crap always happen on days when I drive to work, as opposed to riding the train? Like Seven Corners isn't hell enough on a weekday night, they have to throw a severe thunderstorm in on it.

Seriously, though, DC Duers take care!

12. Tornado
Wouldn't it be awesome to have a F4 touchdown right on the WH lawn and raze through there on the very day that Dubya's lies about Iraq are starting to get some attention. Now THAT would be God talking to him
:-)

18. Great idea
Too bad you can't put in requests with as you can with DJs. I think I'd have to empty my savings account for that (all $125 of it).

But, we'd have to wait until Dumya returns from Africa, and then we'd have to catch him before he goes on vacation.
