At least, I hope it's a poor impersonation.

1. No way! The Doktor made sense at least some of the time
also, he lived well into his 60s. Sheen? Don't bet on it.

2. He's 45 now...
Will spend the next 15 years:

1/ six feet under
2/ behind bars
3/ in a padded cell, covering himself with his own feces
4/ on a sitcom called "two and a half men" where he is the half man having lost most of his brain cells

3. Yes, and a damned poor one at that. Charlie is a mere wannabe
who is forever doomed to live in the shadow of HST.

And I doubt that Charlie, even in the few moments of clarity he allows himself, is capable of writing a coherent sentence. Hunter could function, and write, while totally wasted.

Hunter was almost 68 at his death. I, for one, do not believe that Charlie has the chops to last nearly that long. Nor do I think he will choose the manner and moment of his passing, as did Hunter.

9. I'm not 100% convinced that he's doing Thompson, but he's clearly "in character."
Problem is that he's got a history of threatening wome with violence, sometimes involving guns, knives, etc...

...so whether this current bit of "theatre" is a goof or the unfiltered ramblings of a sick, drug-addled brain, it doesn;t really matter.

He's a disturbing guy voicing disturbing thoughts. You can;t threaten to kill someone and not have it come back to bite you on the ass. He may be freaking out over the fact that they took his kids away but he earned it.

12. The Doctor started his drug career with brain cells to spare.
He ended up smarter, after decades of drug abuse, than Sheen was before he snorted his first line.

Plus, HST got a savage beating from the Hell's Angels when he intervened in an incident of domestic violence. (He confronted an Angel named "Junky George" who was hitting his "old lady", telling him, "Only a punk beats his wife.")

Sheen is just that type of punk.

So yes, it is such a bad imitation, it's not even close.
