I miss Spy magazine. Do you?
I saw a mention of a certain issue of Spy magazine on http://twitter.com/#!/theharryshearer">Harry Shearer's Twitter page with a link to the Google Books page of that issue. So I rotated the display on the laptop 90 degrees, went full screen and had a good old time with one of my few 1980's sources of joy and snark.

1. Spy was very helpful in helping transcend the minimum wage bookseller job I had in the 80's.
I was working for a national mall bookstore chain, in the reddest of red states, and reading Spy on breaks made me feel that there was this very real place known as New York City where people were well read, sarcastic, and averse to the same things I didn't like.

My one, abiding regret is that that short-fingered vulgarian Trump outlived the magazine.
