How's the weather where you are?
28 below zero with 2 feet of snow reported in Bartlesville, Oklahoma this morning. That two feet of snow fell yesterday on top of what was left from last week's blizzard. That's extreme weather for that part of the world.

I've been entirely dependent upon somebody with a 4x4 for transportation for a week and a half now because my neighborhood streets are otherwise impassable.

Eleven below here. My old dog had chills this morning after coming back in from doing his morning duties. I put his sweatshirt on him and warmed him with the blow dryer - and got lots of cold doggie kisses. He's asleep at my feet now. We're both looking forward to the great thaw.

we had some rain last night so things are still a little wet out. It will peak at 48 for todays high.

All in all, not too bad. We escaped all the bad weather this time. Knock on wood.

I am ready for spring!

Even with all the snow we need more moisture.

And 40 sounds great!

6. 16 here, with a windchill of 0
Mounds and mounds of snow. Sunny, but it's not working very well. Maybe somebody could turn it up.

In the meantime, I have loaded up the woodstove and the kittehs are sedated--lying in their favorite spots (the runty pisspot in a straw basket with a fleece blanket mere inches from the stove, the airhead moose on the corner of the area rug closest to the stove) and absorbing the heat.

Sweet of you to warm up your goggie like that. :loveya:

Better wear some good sunglasses with all the sunshine and snow.

8. Too damn cold.
High in the single digits with wind chills below 0. Supposedly a thaw is coming over the weekend and next week. Can't wait, given that the yards, sidewalks, and streets are ice rinks. I'm happy that it appears to be a gradual thaw -- at least flooding won't be much of a worry.

16. We had some thawing last weekend
but there was so much snow that many of the drains were covered - resulting in areas where the streets were covered in water. Water that would re-freeze overnight. I suspect we will have more of the same. We're supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow. Followed by 40's and 50's for the next several days.

Stay warm.
