i really can't stand any of the popularity games played online, but the hearts game is certainly one of the least attractive

The point I am trying to make is your contribution and postings on DU make you very much a part of this club. Please stay.

Along the same vein, the grammer and spelling patrol "police" on DU are often NOT helpful but hurtful.

I've seen that myself and yes there are a LOT of good people here. I remember when I first came here I was told to have a thick skin. Over time I saw why. It made me feel bad for the poster who wanted to stay away for the week.

However, I stick by my feelings on the grammer police. ;-)
