When the roads were COMPLETELY covered in packed snow, you would hang out at a
stop sign and quickly squat down and grab onto the rear bumper, using your shoes or
boots as skis and letting the car tow you along at literally breakneck speed.

COOLEST end to one of those rides would be if they turned off and you could slingshot
your way on down the road.
