Bud Light must be truly awful beer...
I mean all the money they spend on commercials and the whimsical theme that runs through them means only one thing to me, their product sucks so they have to convince people to buy it.

1. No matter how bad it is, it'll never be half as bad as Coors (or Coors Light).
I've posted a couple of "worst beer" polls on DU...Coors always takes the top spot. Rocky Mountain Mouse Pee.

2. I quit drinking before they started making light beer...
I do remember that people thought Coors was good beer and I tasted it and thought it was nothing more than chugging beer...

3. The only domestic beer that is even remotely worth drinking is Sam Adams.
Everything else is just bitter water. If it's not Guinness it's CRAP, according to my husband. LOL

7. You must mean the only national brand
Almost every nook and cranny of the U.S. now boasts one or several palatable regional microbrews -- especially the Pacific Northwest.

4. You know why they tell you to drink it cold? Because it deadens the taste buds.

5. But EVERYONE knows that fat dumbfucks opening shitty beer in the woods results in babes in bikinis.
It is a simple equation. Countless commercials have confirmed that this is true.

8. Bud Light, Coors Light, Miller Light etc etc - Beer Flavored Kool-aid
Mostly water with the slight taste of stale beer flavoring. Why even bother to drink beer.

9. I was spoiled for many years by the fresh beers of Germany...
.
.
...some of which were excellent, most of which were OK, and some of which were wastewater.
.
.
.
I never again could drink the German beer they export (I think pasteurization or something
is mandated for their export beers -- anyways, SOMETHING not done in-country).
.
.
.
A friend of mine turned me on to an American light beer that I actually think is excellent.
.
.
.
Miller High Life Light (not Lite) in bottles.
.
.
.
Refreshing and tasty (to me, anyways).

10. I'm drinking Bud Light right now.
I like to swish it through my teeth so it's easier to make words with my burps. Round here we call it style.

14. Did they used to do that for the super bowl?
I don't remember, having not watched many of them, even in the early days. It would certainly make more sense than what they do now...

13. It is truly awful beer.
I got it once at a concert. I would say it tastes like piss but I don't want to insult piss. I also think just about every commercial made for Bud Light portrays its drinkers as idiots and/or assholes, and that is not company I would want to keep (even if the beer was worth drinking).
