Mom: Turn on that puppy thing!
Me: Why?
Mom: There's this puppy with a brown ring around one eye, like on that little kids show.
Me: What little kids show?
Mom: The one you watched when you were little (I'm 55).
Me: Mom, I watched a lot of little kid shows when I was young.
Mom: NO! This one was called the little kids show.
Me: You mean the "Little Rascals?"
Mom: Yeah that's it. The dog looks like Spanky.
Me: You mean Petey.
Mom: Yeah, him too!

It's going to be a long night.
