Which one did YOU have?

Oh and I NEVER carried the thermos that was included and held in place with that silly little clip.

What was in it? Baloney sammiches with mayo and lettuce, a Ding Dong, one of those little string cheese things, and a stick of gum.

And it always smelled of sour milk. At least the Thermos did.

Oh, yeah -- PBJ.

2. I had a Bonanza lunch box in the 60's
I think my grandparents gave it to me. I guess if I had the choice I would have had a Batman. My typical lunch was baloney sandwich & American cheese with mayo and Frenches mustard, piece of fruit, and milk in the thermos.

I think my old lunch box ended up as a casket for a pet rat. Those things bring a decent price these days with or without the thermos.

4. That was the one I had, too!
Although I think my mother put the thermos in mine, and I never had the stick of gum. Can't remember the rest of the lunch, just whatever it was she made for all of us at the same time :)

5. A paper bag.
I always wanted a special one, probably Batman or The Monkees, but we were too poor.

6. Strawberry Shortcake.....
followed by a Holly Hobbie.

And I LOVED the thermos, especially the way you could never really get the smell of the past contents out of it.

7. An NFL one.
The old NFL sans AFL. They were still not talking at that point.

I'm told I used to kick it home. My lawyer says I should issue a non-denial.

9. Partridge Family
LOVED that one, because I was going to marry David Cassidy and sing in the band. :loveya: Also Brady Bunch and a couple of others throughout elementary school, and then I hit the cutting edge of lunchbox chic in fourth grade, with a white Snoopy model--padded vinyl that was all new and plasticky smelling (mmm...toxic chemicals...)

I recall that I regularly shattered the glass insides of the matching Thermoses by dropping them. I was a klutz.

I don't remember what I used to have for lunch. PB&J, I guess. Baloney for a while until I got sick of it. Little Debbies for dessert (to this day I love the oatmeal creme cookie-sandwiches). Must have had something healthy in there as well, like an apple, but I can't say for sure.

12. I had the Partridge Family lunchbox too!!!
I think it was my favorite out of all the TV themed ones I had during my elementary school years :-)

I collected lots of Tiger Beat magazines too - especially with David Cassidy on the cover!

10. Mine was a quarter and a dime.
It fit in my pocket, and once a week, included an ice cream sandwich.

11. I think all lunch boxes automatically
came with baloney sammiches. Sometimes alternating with PBJ. I know mine did. I think it was a Roy Rogers box, but I can't remember beyond the baloney sammich.
