Should we adopt this guy?
This is Peter Pan. Leah from the rescue calls him Poppin Peter Pan. He apparently loves to play and is just a sweet little guy. Loves to cuddle up in bed and go to sleep as you can see here:

He's a cutie pie. Leah is bringing him around this week to meet us. Our house has been so empty without Leroy, and Prudence is being a terror, so we have decided to start looking. What do you think?

6. The rescue most likely got him from the pound.
Leah works there too. She works at like fifteen different places taking care of dogs. Friend me on Facebook (search Melissa Albers, Oklahoma City). I'm currently trying to get some donations together for them. They work with the most wonderful vet I have ever met in my life, and these are truly the most selfless people I have ever met. I sent her a message on Facebook earlier this evening and she called and was like, you can have whoever you want. Just let me know. Apparently she thinks we are awesome and normally doesn't do local adoptions because a lot Oklahomans don't feel like their dogs are family, just a dog. And that hacks me off. So she ships them off to NJ and NY.
Once we get him here, I'll have to see what Prudence thinks about him, but I'm pretty sure we'll be adopting him. I'm loving the ears. And my Aunt LOVES Chihuahuas. I'll definitely have to take him for a visit.
So, Poppin Peter Pan will probably have a new home by the end of the week. We'll probably just call him Petey or Peter. I'm not a big weird dog name person.

This might be the ONLY time you'll ever see a negative answer to an OP like that.

Duh.

Of COURSE you should invite him into your home and family.

NoName had been given up for adoption and the owners left a GREAT deal of info --
including the fact that they had a toddler and the two hadn't gotten along.

She was the sweetest, GENTLEST, most loving cat I've ever had -- NEVER even a
kneejerk lashing out.

That child must have been ONE. HOLY. TERROR.

Makes me wonder if Skittles has ever worked as a nanny.

8. You like him. Adopt him. He needs a home. You have a home.
You only have one dog. You have room for two.
I have two vicious cats who would skin him and eat him, but I think he'll do fine at your house.
