There's a cat on my bosom
who will not allow me to type with both hands. This is how Rat Face/Miranda shows/gets affection -- by jumping upon me or Mrs. V. while one of us is on the computer in the office. She sits on Mrs. V.'s lap, but unless I am reclining I have no lap, so she lays across my bozooms.

If only she could be this sweet all the time, and quit peeing all over the house.

:)

1. It could be worse.
She could be peeing on your bazooms.

I hope she's quit peeing in the toaster.

2. LOL So true!
We have saved all of our counter-top appliances by putting fabric covers on them. So far she hasn't anointed a one. Go figure.

3. Our cat Candy...
has ruined 2 toasters. I finally bought one of those sprayers that detect movement and spray air or make a sound to keep her off the kitchen table.

Now she just pees on any clothing that we happen to forget to keep out of her "reach". If she wasn't the cutest cat we had....ugh!

Here she is thinking about what she can anoint next.

4. We have a calico kitty...
who is as good as gold unless we have overnight visitors, where she has a reputation of peeing on their luggage. Ugh! :(

5. It's funny what they choose to do their business on
Candy prefers to mark my clothes over my partners clothes. I have given her the nickname of "Girlfriend" since I seem to be her favorite target and she likes me more.

What it is about toasters that she feels to need to express herself on them. She is the only one of our 12 cats that still marks.

I'm glad we found a solution to the toaster thing, even if we do forget to turn it off when we go into the Kitchen.

6. That would be pretty dangerous...
I'd be scared to death she would electrocute herself. Some cats are just strange, that's all I can offer. This one has some strange habits--the other night she woke me up by licking my eyelids while I was asleep. Nearly scared the crap outta me!

7. heh
I re-read what I wrote and had to laugh. The toaster is kept unplugged. It's the Air Sprayer that we forget to turn off and it's quite a start when you forget it's there when you enter the Kitchen.
