How do you prefer James Bond? Fantastical or gritty?
In other words...

From Russia With Love or Goldfinger?

Roger Moore or Timothy Dalton?

Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig?

8. Hey! I can play the Bond theme on the guitar
all on the E string - the biggest one, the one closest to you if you play right handed

1 on the open string (no fingers)
4 times with a finger on the second fret (from the neck)
4 times on the open string again
4 times with a finger on the third fret
4 times with a finger on the second fret

repeat

fast

2. Roger Moore/Pierce Brosnan, no question.
The others range from "okay" to "not even qualifying as Bond to my mind."

4. I have to agree
Miss Moneypenny: James! Where have you been? I've been searching all over London for you.

Miss Moneypenny: 007 is here sir.

James Bond: Moneypenny! What gives?
Miss Moneypenny: Me, given an ounce of encouragement. You've never taken me to dinner looking like this. You've never taken me to dinner...
James Bond: I would, you know. Only "M" would have me court-martialed for... illegal use of government property.
Miss Moneypenny: Flattery will get you nowhere - but don't stop trying

Daniel Craig actually has the physicality to be James Bond, Pierce and Roger are girlymen.

7. Actually I like Dalton, as much as people trash him.
There were some light-hearted moments, but overall Dalton's movies had the gritty, realistic Bond from the books.

I also like Connery and Craig for those reasons.

9. Both have been well done.
The Spy Who Loved Me
and Casino Real
were both very good in very different ways.
Connery's body of work needs no description here.

Pierce Brosnan, as we all know,
should suck a candy bar out of my ass
and choke on it.

14. R.I.P., John Barry, the composer of the James Bond music
I grew up with. He scored the music for 11 of the films and did the orchestration for the 1st movie Dr. No.

He passed away just recently:

Oh yeah, for me, Sean Connery will always be James Bond.

Best James Bond movie, IMO: From Russia With Love
