Most notably Toronto and Niagara Falls. We plan to drive there perhaps in the summertime. Kids are ages 10 and 14.

Hop on the westbound College streetcar and have pizza at Cafe Diplomatico in Little Italy. Great pizza and very cool.

The following link has excellent ideas like the Bata Shoe Museum and touring Much Music or watching a taping.

6. Third vote for the Science Center
Lots of fun things for the kids to do and yet still educational and entertaining for the adults.

9. Fun to do in Canada?
Well, you've got the kids so that will likely let sex out. Other than that I'm not sure there's anything fun to do in Canada.

10. Go to the races!
The whole area - on both sides of the border - is a hotbed of racing! The drag races are great for kids - lots of stuff to see, the pits are open to fans, so you can see the cars up close. The races are short, in an elimination format, so it's easy to move around and see different stuff.

Buy or bring earplugs, I reccomend some picnic lunch - and yes, girls race too!

Junior dragsters for kids!
The drags have more than a little circus to them:

Short-track oval racing is good entertainment - often in the evening. Structured more as a grandstand show.

Supermodifieds (ISMA) are the "poor man's Formula 1"

Pete Bicknell's http://www.merrittvillespeedway.com/ is an exemplary dirt track. My friend races "Mod Lites" and HAS to travel from Ct. at least once a year, because the place is so well run and fun.

13. I went to Niagara Falls when I was 10. My goal was to go over the
falls in a barrel. But my parents were able to thwart my endeavor. Mostly my mother. My father was game for it.
But we couldn't find a barrel anyplace.

But although Toronto is large there is really more to do in Ottawa. Ottawa is also a better jumping off point to Montreal and Quebec City.
