25 assorted little peeps are "cheep-cheep-cheeping" merrily in my tropically toasty home office!

You may or may not remember the massacre of Mario and his ladies by a neighbors dog in November.... A friend drove down from Maryland to give me a rooster (Trey) and two hens to keep Chocolate, my somewhat shell-shocked survivor warm this winter. Anyhow - Happy Days are here again! The 25 assorted day old peeps arrived yesterday - hopefully by mid March they can move from the house to the greenhouse, and then into the coop with their elders later in the spring!

They are an awfully cute bunch of tiny puffballs!

1. I love the little peeps! You may want to move them out of the house sooner than 6 weeks, though.

They start pooping pretty quickly!

Our local hardware store will be getting them in soon... I always watch for the sign and stop to see the peeps and ducklings. They are adorable.
