2. While that may be the original, Laswell is known for Dub music,
so it's still Laswell ;)

5. "Panthalassa: The Music Of Miles Davis 1969-1974"
I especially like this one for the 13 minute remix of "He Loved Him Madly," Miles' tribute to Duke Ellington, which ran for 32 minutes on "Get Up With It," Miles' final studio album before his self-imposed 70s retirement / exile. The 13 minute version comes in handy when I'm assembling "electric guitar era" Miles mix CDs, but the whole "Panthalassa" album is GREAT.

2. Black Satin/What If/Agharta Prelude Dub 16:07
3. Rated X/Billy Preston 14:33
4. He Loved Him Madly 13:38

6. I never watched The Sopranos, so didn't know that was used.
Here's a longer remix from the CD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eain4M7pDfI

7. Man, that's BLEAK.
I can imagine sitting around the Christmas tree, with frost on the windows, a log on the fire, and delicious mugs of egg nog, and "Seven Souls" on the stereo as the young 'uns run crying from the room.
