Poll question: "Manscaping" Yes or No?

All of sudden I feel like I'm 9 years old again.

1. "No female likes to deal with hairy balls,....
so men must education themselves on proper manscaping and maintenance techniques."

2. Just remember
where manscaping goes, stubble follows.

5. And following stubble, ingrown hairs.
Some trends are better left unfollowed.

4. I was "manscaped" as a prep for surgery in the mid-70's...
.
.
.
...and, when we finally got home -- not TWO SECONDS after going through
the front door, my ex commanded, "Drop 'em"... as in "trou".
.
.
.
She had to hold on to a chair to keep from falling over laughing.
.
.
.
"You... you... you look like the most well-endowed three-year-old EVER!!!!"
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Oh YEAH!!!! Eat my dust, three-year-olds.

6. I hate the word and all such bastardized idiocies.
As for a little grooming down south, it's a losing battle for some of us. I could raze the field before hitting the bars and leave severe stubble burns in the garden patch at planting before first light.

7. Just say no to manscaping - I like having sex with an adult
not someone who looks like they haven't even hit puberty yet!

31. Many women do this, but not for men
We do it for comfort, especially in a hot climate, we do it for exercise workouts, we do it if we're in bathing suits often. We do it for our own comfort, and not to fulfill your manly preferences. If you do it enough with the right tools, there is no painful stubble. Yeah, some of you guys say leave a landing strip, however, that's more trouble than going for the full Brazilian.

9. Some manscaping is okay...nay, necessary
Guys, trust me on this: your armpits don't stink nearly as bad if you get rid of the fur that's in 'em. BO is produced by the bacteria living on your underarm hair, so getting rid of that deprives them of a home.

The pubic area looks like a grade-A pain to try shaving, so on that I'd say "only for the committed."

god forbid that men (or women, even) should have hair under their arms. (or anywhere else, I suppose)

26. Bathing doesn't work as well
Those bacteria seem to last forever...bathe, and they come right back in just a few hours.

35. not all bacteria are bad- you kind of need em to survive
Now I'm thinking of the Grossology book I used to read to my kid!

Some people like the body's natural scents (as opposed to BO) - not all body scents are offensive- some of them are considered part of the deal and part of what attracts us to one another.

10. You know....
it's not just: 1) Bare Skin

or

2) Fucking Love Jungle

There's places to stop in between!

So, I think (and it's been confirmed by others) that a little manscaping goes a long way. Trimming that shit down a bit apparently makes it a more pleasant place for her to be; and yet doesn't make one look like a toddler.

I know for a fact that the same applies in reverse- I don't need it bare; but if I'm gonna be down there, a little maintenance is VERY much appreciated.

YMMV, but I totally support trimming :)

And you don't have to shave it all off, just clean it up a little fer chrissakes.

And on a related note, after a drunken office outing, and my resulting big mouth, I ended up with a new nickname!

22. As my wife once said...
"If I wanted to snuggle up to fur, I'd sleep with the dog."

I'm not bare, but I'm 'well groomed'. Only my back gets waxed.

I've never understood why some men react so badly to the idea. Men who wouldn't think of letting the hair on their head go a month without a trim FREAK OUT at the suggestion of keeping their man-bush trimmed and orderly.

23. YES
Welcome to the club. This is the new reality. If you still have pubic hair you're either old and married or hopelessly out of date with these things and will be free from certain, intimate contact, until pubic hair becomes popular once again.

I personally like the new reality after a few episodes of choking/barfing.

24. Doohickies for hair removal.
There's a thing called an epilator that yanks the hairs out. Made by Braun. I have been chicken with mine; I think it needs either heavy local anesthesia or general anesthesia.

34. Mechanized hair ripping--THAT is truly a manly sort of thing!
That has gotta be THE most butch thing I can think of.

I can just see the ads now: guys hanging out at the gym bragging they just bought the new Manscaper 5000 with the advanced foreskin tweezer feature...

Yeah, this one is gonna be worth a fortune.

:eyes:

It's not for me to judge what anyone does. Except for rightwingers, of course; EVERYTHING they do is wrong and therefore subject to unalloyed criticism.
