Well, Camper Van Beethoven + Eugene Chadbourne.

2d album was called "Eugene Chadbourne & some guys so famous we can't put their name on the album", or something like that.

BTW, been a while, er 20+ years, since I've heard that cover.

3. Who the fuck is Eugene Chadbourne?

Funny but true story, back in my AOL days I belonged to a Cracker fan page and some chuckle head was posting as David Lowry. I thought I'd fuck with the guy and sent him an email basically making fun of him for posing as David Lowry. Turns out it was David Lowry and he sent me a response to the effect of who the fuck are you and blocked me from ever contacting him again!

Don't really know how to classify him other than a semi-avant garde weirdo.

Helluva guitar player and song writer.

Also famous for playing the electric rake.
