60% of the way to my weight-loss goal, I'm utterly ambivalent about the achievement...
because I'm less than thrilled with the results thus far in the mirror, I want to look good naked. Period. End of story. Only metric I care about. This is all about the vanity.

(To be clear, this is the exact opposite of a medical thread. My doctor only wants to talk about health benefits so I fired her because we weren't on the same page.)

1. Have you talked with a professional trainer for some tips on "spot" exercise?
.
.
.
It's not effective for all things, but it might improve SOME of what you're hoping to achieve.

.
Weightlifting is REALLY helpful. Not by you... by the person you want to see you as attractive.
.
.
.
Instead of YOU lifting 12 lb lead barbells... have them lift 12 oz of Scotch shooters -- about
6-8 reps worth.
.
.
.
Guaranteed... you'll look SMOKIN'!!!

2. LOL.
You might have missed this because I don't speak of it much but since I quit drinking March 2010, I don't generally hang-out in bars.

I lift 3x a week, 25# dumbbells on a pro-designed upper body circuit. I'd say the problem lies more that going from 340 to 250 has left me looking like Jame Gumb from Silence of the Lambs, like I'm wearing another person's skin like a jumpsuit.

3. I know the look -- I lost 70 pounds.
.
.
.
If it's REALLY a factor, you might want to talk to your doctor about surgery -- some
sort of tuck might be the only option.

4. Thanks.
I've kinda figured that but was dreading it.

5. a friend of mine has worked out for the last 6 years
quit smoking 4 years ago. eating right.
Looks great and is thinner than she was in high school.

had a pooch she just couldn't get rid of, no matter what she did.

so she had some lipo. she's very happy.

I haven't seen her naked, but she says she has the results she wanted.
