Sorry for the all caps...this is how AccuWeather posted it:

...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 9 AM PST WEDNESDAY... ...FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING...

A FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 9 AM PST WEDNESDAY. A FREEZE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES: OVERNIGHT MINIMUM TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE UPPER 20S IN THE RURAL VALLEYS TO THE MID 30S AROUND SAN FRANCISCO BAY. DURATIONS OF NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES OF UP TO 2 HOURS OR MORE WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE COLDEST AREAS.

* TIMING: LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...AND AGAIN LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS: TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW 32 DEGREES CAN DAMAGE SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS LIKELY. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE DAMAGED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

A FREEZE WATCH MEANS SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE POSSIBLE. THESE CONDITIONS COULD KILL CROPS AND OTHER SENSITIVE VEGETATION.

3. 32 according to my car, which may or may not be 100% accurate
Ice on the windshield when I went out to start it...had to spend an extra ten minutes getting it off. I grew up in Massachusetts so I've been through worse, but when you move from there to a place like California, your blood thins out, so 32 degrees really, really feels like a lot worse.

4. Up in the Klamath Basin of the Oregon Cascades:
about 2 feet of snow on the ground, lots of black ice where the roads have been plowed, and tomorrows low temps supposed to drop as far as -20F.

With sunshine yet.

5. The freeze watch started last night in the North and East Bays.
There was frost on the ground this AM but it doesn't look like it was true freeze. Tonight is supposed to be much colder.

This is like the freeze that we typically have in mid-December.

6. Yoicks! No ice here in north SJ.
Did you get up really really early, or was it just that much colder where you are?
