1. It doesn't get that bad here (mid-Atlantic) but I'm not

fond of snow and cold, either. Much less tolerant as I get a little older, too ... it doesn't make me hurt the way it does some, but I just don't like the hassle. Thought the first snow of the season is often pretty.

Hope you can stay warm. Where are you?

3. I feel the same way, really not looking forward to winter here,

maybe because of the extreme amount of snow/ice/winter troubles we had last year.

2. My wife was confronted with snow today, which is a very rare occurrence for her.

This morning Alley and Mini-Alley drove to The Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in southern Utah to spend the week helping to take care of the critters. They planned on camping in a nearby State Park, but they hit snow starting between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Alley was expecting the temps to be in the low 40's high 30's, but the overnight temperatures dropped to the mid twenties, and are dropping to the high teens by Wednesday. Alley is a Los Angeles girl, and Mini has never dealt with snow or real cold other than weekend trips to the local mountains. Alley pissed, and Mini's happy that they have to stay in a motel now.
