A question to all of you Cricket users: How is your coverage?

T-Mobil angered me to the point of wanting to switch providers, and I am debating on who to go with now. I could use some feedback.

Thanks

Joe

1. Cricket coverage is pretty good for the most part
My parents' house is in one area that is not on their coverage map. I haven't traveled since cricket went to all 50 state coverage so I don't know about that department.

I have been using cricket for 10 years and I give them an A-.

3. Watch the billing and make sure you pay the same way every time -
The kidlet has had Cricket pay as you Go for three months now, and was double-billed this month because she paid from her phone rather than paying online or at the kiosk - places where she gets receipts.
Now she is going through hell trying to get her $55 back without any form of record other than the bank statement which does not apparently have a payment confirmation number on it - and when one is living off a mixture of allowance and very part-time/minimum wage work while they're going to school, $55 is pretty important.

The coverage is apparently better than when we first looked into Cricket four years ago, and their packages (flat rate unlimited phone, text and internet) are good, but their customer service still sucks worse than AT&T or Sprint.
Best service, coverage, and packages we ever had were with Amp'ed, but they've pretty much gone bankrupt and someone (Verison?)else runs that brand as their pay-go.

4. I just upgraded to a smartphone for cricket
cricket just recently started offering them and were very ill prepared to adjust to the upgrade demand put up by their customers.

Customer service does suck at cricket, I forgot to mention that. For the most part though, the service is good and you don't really need to call customer service all that much, really. Their call center is in india and it's VERY hard to understand the reps with their thick accents. They won't get a supervisor if you are having a hard time understanding them, but they will repeat over and over again until you eventually get it. That part of cricket gets a C-.

5. Off topic
But T-mobile is darn good at causing anger, aren't they? You must have called their customer service.

6. Crickets is a refrence to the curse against a Mormon group solved by birds.

Funny thing is there are some that say posts I make are crickets, while others say they are birds, maybe they are neither or both.

But the real funny thing is the bar I was wrongly smeared at, was called Crickets West, however the name of it was changed after that.

Here is the thing, anyone that has fought for right, and what is good, knows there are entire groups out there trying to make good thoughts look bad. That really calls into question many things, and makes thinking, feeling, and making sure things make sense and be about what is right, not what is said to be right in many places by those to scared to think.

And I am still due beer and travel money and many experiences.

If it is true that the better thoughts look bad because existence is evil, then everyone is fucked anyways, and not what I believe, but I could tell you 1000 attempts to get me to believe that, 1000 doctrines to try and create despair.

But there is a thin chance, a very slim possibility that standing for what is better will prevail, and compared to the death every day of cowardice, best to take that thin road.

Besides, it seems that every once in awhile someones conditions improve.

Some interesting songs that are examples of that. And I been wanting to reply to that organization.

Note she matches 'so many things she could say if she was able' Hard to talk with the bad rail in your mouth. Although I also don't believe in monarchy concepts. I do also know those that can not say what they want or what they think. Those that steal crowns. LOL, as Tom said, Life does not steal crowns.

And if you don't need help, maybe you could help someone else :D

7. Never had probs 2 yrs, switched to Pocket which was then bought by Cricket

Have had no problems. But had a trip out of the coverage area, was told beforehand my plan (web) would ensure coverage, well, they neglected to tell me I needed to prior-pay for (roaming?) and went without service for 5 days on the trip. When I got back and asked they told me what I could have done.

I get comments about dropped calls but the friends and I can't tell whether it's at my end or theirs.

I like the no-contract arrangement. A sales critter for a contract service thought that calling this "pre-paid" was a selling point for contracts. I don't get it, it's paid once per month either way.
