I told my son, "Glenn Beck would call me a latte sipping liberal ...
but actually, this is a Macchiatto!"

I guess some stereotypes do have a basis in reality.

9. It would be like a dream for me ..
if I loved drinking coffee straight up black, with no sweetener. No more fiddling with those little plastic stirrers or that horrible powder most meeting rooms have for creamer.

10. Yeah, I don't know what those are either.
But if I give them a chance, I bet I would like them. My mother told me the other day that I was a "save the whales" kind of a guy.

11. I do like them, but I think I've only had one *real* one in my life.
Most places, when you order a caramel macchiatto, will actually give you something more akin to a caramel latte. My understaning is the true macchiatto should have less steamed milk than a latte, but a local coffee shop in Asheville, NC is the only place that has ever served me one like that.

8. I was briefly addicted to Caribou fancy drinks
until I calculated how much they were sucking out of my wallet.

Now I make good, strong coffee at home.

I'm still tempted this time of year, though, when the pumpkin and eggnog lattes come out.

12. I don't even like latte
Personally, I prefer milk in my coffee--not coffee in my milk!

I make my own coffee--"road tar" strong, either black or with whole milk, and without sugar--and I'm no hard-core conservative, either.

16. I hate all coffee
does that make me a bad liberal AND a bad conservative?

No lattes, but also no black coffee in a thermos

20. You mean for the coffee or chai?
Coffee is next to drilling mud as far as taste goes, but chai can be made with black or green tea and I've even had it with yerba mate, which is even milder yet still tasty :9
