If you ran the Acronym Agencies for a day...
FBI, CIA, NSA, NRO, OHS, take yer pick.

If you ran these agencies for a day, and could get a single document currently classified secret for whatever reason UN-classified and released, what would it be?

Myself, I'm torn between the transcription of the data and voice recorder on Flight 93 (obviously), and them 28 pages.

What would you release?

1. Personally
Since I'm a Catholic, and a fan of Jack Kennedy's, I'd have all of the documents relating to the federal investigation of the murder declassified, the ones on hold till 2028 or whatever absurd year.

2. Any Classified Information Regarding...
extraterrestrial visitation :tinfoilhat:. I go back and forth on the issue, and have even seen a few things that I cannot explain. We need to either put it behind us or embrace the fact that we are not alone.

3. Screw the 3-letter agencies, -

I want to know once and for all who 'Deep Throat' was.

It's not an acronym, btw, unless the initial letters actually spell a word.

5. Well,
I believe they have to form a word, but what constitutes a word becomes broad in this context.

Dictionary.com uses "WAC" as an example, which while a homonym (again, of sorts) for "whack", "WAC" is by no means a word....

I also would like to know once and for all who Deep Throat was.

7. You're correct that it's not much of a word
But read the definition of 'initialism' and the distinction becomes much clearer. FBI, CIA and NSA, for example, are clearly not acronyms.

4. Not classified, but. . .
I'd like to see what my friends, coworkers, and family said about me in a clearance interview a few years back.

As for the other, I think I'd like to see the documents about antiwar leaders during the Vietnam era. I'd be interested in what all those eeeevil nuns and folks singers were up to that earned them FBI attention, and more importantly, I'd like to know the feds' interpretations: The target sang a three-stanza song regarding an antigovernment agitator; his name was apparently Gandhi. Consider surveillance on this Gandhi person to ensure they are not part of the Communist movement.
