3. in terms of litigation and civil suits against my estate?
Edited on Thu Oct-28-10 06:17 PM by datasuspect
probably yes. a considerable portion will be disbursed to creditors in probate.

whatever i don't give out beforehand. which would be minimal. i'm only 40. i still use most of my cash. what i do reserve, i'm not necessarily wanting to give out.

i'm expecting to drop dead of a heart attack within 5 years though. one of my relatives can access my accounts during the time between i die and when the confusion settles. they would have to grab the loot as soon as they confirmed i was actually dead.

that is, if anybody wants anything.

18. Welcome to DU! Awesome reply. It would be fun to actually leave
a treasure map that leads to some treasure of your choosing - pictures, money, or an heirloom.

:hi:

11. My unfinished stories.
But then again, I would expect them to go through my computer and find them anyway. I think I'd rather have the time to delete some things instead :P

12. 1001 reasons to laugh, either at me, or with me...
My social circle coalesced in the late 60's and early 70's. Since then, I've done more stupid things than one person can count.

17. A messy house, three cats, and my corpse. Not much else.
Edited on Thu Oct-28-10 08:16 PM by The Velveteen Ocelot
And the cats will probably eat me before anybody notices I'm missing.

There's one thing I'd like to do, though, before I go: Leave a key to a safe deposit box where they (whoever "they" would be) will find it. In the safe deposit box will be nothing but one of those cans that when you open it a bunch of those "snakes" made of cloth and springs fly out. That would be cool.

24. A detailed will.
I am not rich. But I do have a nice CD collection, a good library and some property and some jewelry. It will be disbursed fairly. They mostly know already who is getting what.

The best thing will be the memories and the laughs I leave them. We have had fun.
