What is up with zombies? Seriously there must have been a zombie event up on parliament hill today.

I kept seeing kids covered in blood and with white faces walking home from that direction. And fine with all the zombie fun but why oh why do they have to cover lampposts and crosswalk buttons with all of their fake blood? What is this phenomena?

That's going on at my campus currently. It's basically an extreme game of tag that goes on for several days or even a week. Some kids get extremely into the role-playing aspects of it.

4. lol. I signed up to play, but I just didn't end up having the time or the money.

You have to have a nerf gun (or you can use balled up white socks, but it puts you at a disadvantage). You also need a white hankerchief to wear, indicating that you are a human, and a red handkerchief for when you (almost inevitably) get turned into a zombie. I've watched some of the goings on around campus this week and they've been pretty exciting; at one point there was a "war" with over fifty kids running around shouting, shooting, and dodging each other. It seems like a blast.
