23. Oh we do complain, but it doesn't get anywhere...

we also pay $315 a year for the licence on each car we use. Plus there's tax on the auto insurance premiums.

When I lived in the US, I didn't care how much gas cost, even when it was around $1,70 a gallon, it wasn't even an issue.

It just winds me up to hear people in the US complaining about the cost of fuel. You lot don't know you're born! :-)

My car uses the 2.67 but I have always used mid-grade, 2.20. I've been carpooling to the market, with neighbors. We're retired and can't afford the 1.92 price. My hub uses his bike a lot, but here in Phoenix is too hot and dangerous for people of his age to be biking during the day.

Oh, you mean for gasoline for motorized vehicles? I think it's $1.81 for unleaded in town in Portland, Oregon. It's usually cheaper in the 'burbs, but I don't usually go there except on my way out of town.
