Percentage of Assholes In America

Take a random sample on the streets of Anywhere, USA. What percentage of people do you suppose will be assholes?

This is scientific. I'll be publishing it in my thesis.

1. About half of the people out there.

I can be one of them, too. I am peaceful/calm/helpful about 50% of the time. The other 50%, I'm a pure asshole.

2. I say about a quarter

just because someone disagrees with me about politics, doesn't make 'em an asshole. An asshole, to me, is someone who could give a shit about other people and is insecure in the fact that the world revolves around the sun, not them. Most people are good people in my opinion.

I seriously think that everyone can be an asshole at any given moment. Take my day before yesterday driving up to Denver to take my dad to the air port. I probably cussed out every single driver on I 25 because I AM the only one who knows how to drive ;-) Right! Anyway, point being I think it depends on the mood of people on a daily basis.

19. I've always taught my kids that there is a 10% factor...

You can't do anything about them, but 90% of people are good or at least well intentioned. Therefore, you should treat everyone as a good person until they convince you that they are part of the 10%.
