My daughter had an article published in the college paper - she quoted me ("thunderfuck")
The headline was "Economy affects summer employment".

Where she quoted me: The economy is, as my dad likes to say, "a big thunderfuck" that is sitting several miles down the road; but for now we can avoid the storm.

I think she meant to use "clusterfuck", but in the context of the sentence "thunderfuck" works better. That is, however, the name of some really kick-ass pot we got our hands on in the early 80's (I think from Oregon). Still, it is cool both that she felt confident using a term like that in something she was submitting for publication AND that the paper published it!

3. Send a copy of the article to the editors of the Oxford English Dictionary
They like to know where words come from and who used them first

5. The pot you reference is from Alaska

Matanuska Thunderfuck is A strain grown in the Matanuska Valley just north of Anchorage. The bud pictured purports to be that strain, which is actually known in growing references by it's more genteel name "Matanuska Tundra" but I have only heard of this, never personally experienced it.

7. Well, from personal experience I can tell you that... hey, is that a bag of Doritos?
Anyway, I was going to say, um. Well, something.

Thanks for the info.
