1. Cats are actually made of a form of matter that is basically a liquid.
One of the characteristics of liquids is that they assume the shape of their containers. Cats do this all the time.

Cat physics is different from regular physics.

11. I think cats have bones they can control the stiffness of.
Something like cartilage instead of actual rigid bone. And they can just ooze their way into tight openings.

of a water buffalo.

6. That's the normal size of my cat
can you imagine when he stretches out? He's a ragdoll and he's just a giant-mutant cat.

17. Evie gets bigger at night
It's weird. I have postulated that she absorbs her shadow's mass to accomplish that feat, but frankly, I'm going to have a heck of a time proving that one. :P

19. Cats can also arbitrarily change their apparent mass at will.
Jumping from kitchen floor to coutertop: .1 gram.

Sitting on my legs while in recliner: 225 kilograms.

14. Love it!
Watched that while drowning out Joe Miller's (the local tea party whack job) press conference.

He just said he wanted the Democrats to join his campaign.

18. Their other videos are fun, too
Not many engineers have that good of a sense of humor.

These days I am not watching much news - I try to, but turn away anytime Palin or any of the Tea Baggers show up. That means I even miss seeing a lot of The Ed Show, Olbermann, Rachel and other good shows since they seem fixated on talking about the nutjobs.
