He's done the score for most of Spike Lee's movies. Then there's Mark Knofler who did the amazing soundtrack to "Local Hero".

22. I wanted to vote for Wi.liams, but Zimmer's music...
I wanted to vote for Williams, but Zimmer's music is so much more forceful when appropriate, and really resonates within me. Even if his score calls for 90% incidental filler, it's still so magnificent.
