The Best Pixar Film Is..

2. Same here, but the "Toy Stories" will always have a teeny edge for me.

4. If you go by emotional reaction, Toy Story 3 hit me as hard as anything I've ever seen.

Partly because of all the memories of the story, but partly because my daughter is a senior this year, and partly because I'm thinking about death and that great incinerator in the sky as my parents get older and my relatives start going, and partly just because that last scene was so perfectly done. I swear I didn't just fight back tears in that scene. I was choking back sobs, and barely succeeding, and from the sound of the theater, most others were failing as badly as I was.

And I thought the scrapbook scene in Up! was powerful. :)

8. I haven't seen 3 yet, but 2 kills me everytime Jess sings her song. And yeah, the scrapbook

inUp as well. (Also, Wall-E got me because the message about who we humans are becoming as a species and what we are doing to our planet was just all too real.)

3. When I was watching Wall-E, the first half of the movie made me feel like the movie and its makers

were taking me as an audience member seriously. It was an interesting feeling to come from a "kids' movie."

5. I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet

so I'm not sure where I would put it. I picked The Incredibles. Toy Story 2 would be close behind.

The only movie I didn't like was Ratatouille. It wasn't a bad movie but I didn't enjoy it like I did the other Pixar films.

not quite as good as the first, but how could it be - they didn't have the great and talented Joss Whedon co-writing it like he did the first one.

more SNAP!

Which still leaves WALL•E and Ratatouille at 10 out of 10 :D
