I have a question.
Edited on Mon Aug-30-10 11:34 PM by RandomThoughts
Who has been booming the replacement of Country, with Company? People been replacing those words for years.

Been wondering about that, it has been going on since at least 2001, and was real heavy in 2003, even I do it sometimes.

Who and where is that being blasted from?

Any ideas?

Someone or something is trying to get that into culture.

I know the side it is from, was wondering if an entry point to that thought is known by anyone.

More specific.

Got it thanks.

3. yea I know that.
Not sure if it is that company, or the corporate structure.

But that label error happens all the time. Heard both Bush and Rummy use it, it was happening alot in 2003.

I did it again yesterday, so figure it is still out there, just not as pronounced as it was.

4. i have noticed a tendency
among suited workers to treat the company they work for with the same patriotic fervor they used to treat the country
by which i mean that in the mind of a class of people a view of the company coming before the country will evolve
this is what the international corporations expect of their manager class
this makes it easier to financially plunder as the barrier of patriotism will not stop one from stealing if he sees countries as competing companies

5. The word replacement of country with company
is not an accident, and is out of proportion, it is not a distributed error in many people by connectivity of nodes, it is a reloading of 'country' with concept of 'company' to such a degree that even the word is popping up.

It is like a cross circuit or forced linkage. Basically for people to say company when they mean country, their macros have to be so stuffed even the label is effected.

Takes alot to do that. Someone or something is doing it, just have to trace it back to where it is from, what ever is doing it is really pushing it hard.
