5. Or a garbage truck
That has the same demeaning effect but it's moving, which is nominally more exciting.

3. Sometimes they land on an awning or a skylight
It depends on if the script has them live or die after the fall.

4. If they are fighting upstairs, they must fall down the stairs
together. Anybody who is shot on a balcony must fall off the balcony and die down below.

6. And, they will always fall right past the window of a
completely oblivious couple who will not notice a screaming plummeting human a few feet from the TV...

7. Its not the fall that gets you, its hitting the bottom.

Better to fly up :)

On a side note, I am still owed :)

Maybe that is why 'but' is better then 'and', since owed has no N in it. Not going to be owned, I am owed :) And will collect on that.

8. But if you fly up too much it can result in oxygen deprivation issues,
and flying sideways leads to mountains. Better to hold perfectly still and let everything else move around you - but even in that frame of reference, it's not possible for two solids to occupy the same space.

(What are you owed?)

9. How do you ask, personally or philosophically?
Edited on Sun Aug-22-10 04:31 PM by RandomThoughts
Or I can answer both.

Philosophically, I am owed an existence that includes a world moving to more justice and compassion for all people.

Personally I am owed a few million dollars, from those that do not need it, to compensate for wrong done years ago.

Although in each case, I do not sell or offer in return for it, since that would be a buying or selling, something I do not do.

So what is owed, I think it is about giving.
