Rehoboth's Poodle Beach named best in Northeast for gays

REHOBOTH BEACH � Gaycities.com recently named Poodle Beach, located just south of the boardwalk, as the No. 1 gay beach in the Northeast, and No. 6 in the world.

"It can get crowded here during the season, but it is the hot spot of the social energetic scene," the website says.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. is No. 1 in the world, followed by San Diego, Calif.'s Blacks Beach; Syndey, Australia's North Bondi Beach and Maui, Hawaii's Little Beach.
