anyone here watch "Entourage?"
I was late to the party. I think I joined in on the third or fourth season And it was good.

Not sure which season we're in, I think somewhere around the eighth.

I think the show may have jumped.

Just not much is happening.

Okay, so Ari is trying to bring an NFL team to LA, while worrying about potential legal liabilities and/or a blackmail plot. Turtle started a limo company, or something, that failed, and fell into a tequila deal, that may be headed by some unsavory folks. E and his girlfriend tried anal intercourse and didn't seem to like it. And "the Studio" thinks Vince is on coke. Which he is. And some director wants to make a cartoon of Drama.

Come to think of it, that seems like a lot happening. But something about the structure of the shows this season have left me wanting more. I still watch. But there's something missing.

1. I use to love Entourage but now becoming indifferent
First I have to wait 30 minutes for it thru that horrible dreck "Hung". And second I think 8 seasons is pretty long for any HBO show. Usually the powers-to-be cut off their series after 5-6 seasons in order to keep them from going stale. Well Entourage is going stale and they claim their is one more season until they attempt a "SATC" manuever by making movies of the series. "Entourage" is good but even at it's best it was never a "Sex and the City" kind of series.

But I do still watch it. Drama is funny as hell and honestly, I think the cartoon series is great and would put him on top if Drama would just figure out how to put his ego to the side. I use to love Piven's Ari Gold but now I find him a bloated asshole that is doing the same exact stchick from 5 years ago that was funny as hell back then and boring as hell now. Jeremy Piven was getting annual wins at the Emmy's but now they dont' even nominate him. (He had 3 in a row but last was 2008).

I still watch it - to be honest, I launder my sheets before True Blood so by the time it starts they are in the dryer. During Hung, then I make my bed so after Entourage I'm ready for bed.
