Fucking screaming child narwhals at Disney World!!! Shiiiittt!
Just trying a catchier headline to see if i get responses and views. :)

Same post as before:

I leave in a few hours. Yeah, it's a long drive, and yeah, I know some of you hate Disney for a bunch of reasons--many of them valid. But I'm going to have fun and hopefully won't see you folks for a week. If I'm online here, I'm wasting the ridiculous fees I'm paying them. :)

So, give me the Disney advice you think I should know (I've been a few times, but not in six years), or tell me I'm a sappy pawn for loving the place, or tell me where I can find the Olive Garden... Whatever you see fit.

And if anyone has great ideas of where vegetarians should eat in or around the park, let me know. I've done the research, but I'd love suggestions I might have missed. I'm looking forward to dramatically overpaying for Boma.

3. I didn't make reservations, but there's only one sit-down I want to eat at.
Since I'm vegetarian, most of the restaurants really aren't worth the price for me. Grilled eggplant for the price of prime rib is unsatisfying. :)

9. Geez, calm down. I read it but was busy with screaming child narwals ....
here in my own house. Okay, each day eat a big breakfast, get there early, eat a light lunch, stay late to see the fireworks, drink lots of water, watch out for pickpockets, ride ALL the water rides, and Epcot is the best of all! Say HI to Mickey, Minnie, and Roger Rabbit.

Oh, and bring us back lots of pictures!

:hi:

14. it's going to be very hot & very humid
so, be prepared for that.

What you should do is decide which ride you really want to go on most, and then proceed immediately to get a Fast Pass for it when you enter the park (i.e., Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios). Most likely, the time will be a few hours into the future, if not more. Then, you can go on other rides first and show up for the Tower of Terror at the right time with only a short wait.

15. I hope so. I miss the heat and humidity!
Darned dry heat in Austin just doesn't feel natural. :)

Thanks for the tip! :)

16. Do you have a park hopper pass?
The night show in Hollywood Studios Fantasmic is supposed to be terrific. However, on the nights they have the show (2 nights/week, I think?), the park is packed for the entire day and it's difficult to get into any restaurants and all the rides are a long wait.

If you want to enjoy Hollywood Studios, go on a day they don't have Fantasmic and the park is much less busy. Then, use a park hopper pass to go see Fantasmic on a night they do have it... you'd still have to go a good hour+ before the show to wait in line, though.

17. We were just there last week
It was hot, really hot. But we had a good time. Go out in the morning when the parks open, rest in the afternoon, go out again at dinnertime. Avoid parks that have "extra magic hours" because they'll be swamped. A good vegetarian option in Epcot is the vegetarian platter at the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, and Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is every bit as good as Boma.

I love the place, too:-)
