10. Mine are just plain old classic tabbys...maybe they look big
because of all the fur...but they're kind of small cats, not tiny, but probably smaller than average.

24. OOOOH Such elegance, such dignity.
I love cats. Thanks to everybody for posting their pics. If I ever learn how to use my cell phone camera (intentionally, that is) I will post my darlings.
In my brood of formerly feral kitties, now grown up, I have two who have lovely long hair. (The only ones in their litters!) They are both small cats, one is absolutely tiny.
None of the parental units (now dispersed, thanks to haveaheart traps, a kindly vet who didn't charge me an arm and leg for neutering, and equally kindly adopters) had long hair,
and yet...these two look like miniature Maine Coons. Go figure.

25. Adorable kittens, Gorgeous cats!
I love their white 'eye makeup' ! It's interesting how dark they are in kittenhood, and the dark streaks on their faces remain, but are lighter.
Our old Australian shepherd/blue heeler was 'light blue' merle when we got her at three months old, and gradually the dark spots filled in and she was much more 'navy blue' than white.

Lipizzaner horses start out dark and turn white (actually light grey) over several years.

Yeah, I was sure Melanie was going to be very dark, black in places when she was a kitten...like you said, she lightened up quite a bit.

Thank God for scanners...didn't have a digital in 1995 when they were 6 weeks old, but now I can "digitize" them and post them and send them around!
