Don't you hate it when you think you've killed a spider,
And you go back and it's gone? It's creepy to think they can survive being stepped on, or swatted.

1. Maybe it's really dead and its friends carried its corpse off for a funeral.

2. They die like Yoda.
Wait until you hear them talk to you ...

What about just giving them a ride outside?

5. How to avoid that situation: don't kill them.
It's easy with spiders to place a glass over them, slide a piece of cardboard underneath and toss Spidey outside. Where she can spin her web and kill the mosquitoes and other hideous six-legged pests before THEY come into the house. Remember, the enemy of your enemy is your friend!

8. I tried that policy for a while
...then I started waking up with nasty spider bites all over me. Ungrateful little 8 legged bastards.

16. I know you're right.
But I seem to go crazy when I see a fast moving large spider!

I never kill spiders on purpose. I've seen too many horror movies about karma. :scared:

7. Neh, I hate it when they ain't DEAD. And I luerve almost all living things.
Da spider tings are related to TICKS (my dogs' plague). I will NEVER love spiders and all their relatives hopping on me in bed.

No, no. Whatever.

9. Its worse when it is a scorpion, and it was in your bed.
You swat so hard that you think you have disintegrated it, but it vanishes.

11. You'd REALLY hate this old episode of "Night Gallery"...
Season 2, "A Fear of Spiders" – Cast: Patrick O'Neal, Kim Stanley, Director: John Astin

A phobic gourmet columnist seeks help from a woman he spurned when he discovers a hairy - and obstinate - little guest crawling in his kitchen sink.

12. If you want a spin.
Think of a certain twilight zone episode.

Add to it the comment "Take the mask off"

That episode is a real squisher.

Although I think the comment "Take the mask off" can also have some good meanings also, maybe it depends on how the person thinks of it.

13. I do hate it when I think I've killed a spider...
...and didn't mean to. I never intentionally kill spiders. They are admirable creatures.

Unless due to willful ignorance, you can't be held accountable for things you don't know you do, if your intent is better.

That is how I was able to forgive the people that harassed me years ago.

17. Does that mean it's bad luck to kill a bee, too? They are both good
for the environment, but if a bee is stinging you, or a loved one has allergies, what do you do? Mind you, I do not spray them. I detest chemicals!
